When did you first become interested in astrology and why?

I was about 14 or so and I remember being into it then. The interest just grew, though beyond sun signs of course lol. It just seems...to make sense to me. Yes plenty of people think it's for dizzy people, but I don't care. Astrology has guided monarchies and other rulers since the dawn of time, and for a reason. Many of the greatest scientists and mathematicians were astrologers. Not that I need to defend my natural interests to non-believers! Frequently coming in here to try and 'teach' or disprove is really sad. What about everyone else? I'm especially interested in advanced and professional astrologers. Is it more important to be "intellectual" than to be a human being?

Yes you're right, well I think so anyway. There are people in the world who are vastly intelligent, scientists for example, they strive to find the truth about theories and discover things about the universe, things that are perhaps unecessary to know, but the inherent curiosity of humans causes us to do anything to find these things out. However, many scientists will breach basic morals and ethics to discover such things. For example one psychological researcher took newborn rhesus monkeys away from their mother and placed them in isolation to see if they chose food over comfort or vice versa. I know I could never be so cruel to another living creature just to find this out, it would physically pain me to do so, but some value intellect and science over empathy and compion. It worries me really, because empathy and compion is what keeps us human and without it, we're all capable of being inhumane monsters...a good heart is worth more than a sharp intellect in my opinion.

Washington or Oregon to live?

I am planing on moving as soon as I graduate college, and I'm having trouble deciding between Washington or Oregon. I want to live in/by a semi-small town but still have a lot of fun activities in town and a good community. I would also like to be right next to the forest. I want to walk out my back door and be staring at a lush green forest that I can walk through and get lost for hours (I Love the nature so more the better). However, I also want to be somewhat close to water, whether it be lake or ocean I don't care. I also currently work at Kohl's and would like to be not far from one so I can just transfer there until I find a more stable, long-lasting career. I have heard that it rains a lot and is dreary but I really don't care about that, however I also snowboard so some snow in the winter would be topping on the cake. My rats pooped BLUE?!?

Hi. I noticed today that in my rat cage, there were a bunch of bright blue (like, cerulean blue) droppings on the bedding floor. I was absolutely shocked because the color was so bright and also because I don't recall ever feeding them anything that color. They do chew on these mineral candy chews that are pastel colors, but not really the same color as their poop. I'm very worried because I hear that rats poop blue when they've ingested rat poisoning. Help, I got my girl friend's neighbor a job and now I have an issue?

On Friday, me and a friend of mine (my girl friend's neighbor) were cleaning up at a school in the cafeteria and we had to pull the freezers out from the wall. We were doing the major cleaning that takes place before the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. The regular cook staff just does general cleaning and they don't pull the freezers out from the wall because they are large heavy commercial freezers, so they end up hiring an independent contractor to do the job. Well, my friend didn't turn back on the surge suppressor strip that the freezers plug into (he just plugged them into the surge suppressor power strip without remembering to turn the power strip back to the on position). There were several 30 pound cases of hamburger patties in each of the freezers. My friend didn't tell me this until today. I want to mention that he was the one that was responsible for plugging back in the power strip, not me. Either way, I have access to the school and I can say I forgot something and then run into the cafeteria and turn the power strip back on. My concern is that meat being thawed out over the weekend and then being refrozen. I think it will be okay, but my girl friend says you can't thaw meat and then refreeze it. I am going to fire my friend because I don't need workers like that, but at the same time, I don't want to tell the school about the meat because I could lose my contract with the school. Will it be okay if I just plug it back in Monday morning and not say anything?

Aly had to use the bathroom and as soon as she went in they called me back. i didnt wanna go alone but the nurse look really impatient so i stuck my head in the bathroom and told Aly i would go in without her and meet her back in the waiting room. normally i wouldnt go in alone. when i got back there the nurse left and the guy who was gonna take my blood came in. he was like 40ish i think. he was really nice but i noticed he was flirting with me. he was having trouble getting a vein so he kept telling me to relax and stuff. then he started rubbing my leg. i figured he was just trying to get me to calm down but he didnt stop. after i moved my leg he stopped. he got the blood out of my arm and then he leaned over and smelled my hair. he told me i was beautiful and that he loves the smell of vanilla, which is the lotion i was wearing and the flavor of my shampoo. then he put the little bandage on my arm and he started rubbing my arm. i moved and stood up out of the chair and he ran his hands down my arms and down to my hips. i told him to stop but he didnt. he tried to move them to my but i moved again. and he grabbed my arms again and tried to pull me to him. i was really scared and i started crying and he told me its ok i didnt have to cry cuz he wasnt gonna hurt me. i told him i am only 14 but he didnt care. then wrote his phone number down on some paper and told me to call him. then as i was leaving he had his hand on my hip as i walked out the door crying. Aly asked me why i was crying and i told her nothing that i just didnt like needles and she kinda just let it go. this guy really scared me. i dont know if i should tell my brother or not. he will go crazy and he will go down there cuz he's very protective of me. i will probly never see this guy again so maybe i should just let it go. im scared that something will happen if i tell and i dont wanna go to court or anything. i dont know what i should do.

I hate my family in laws

I hate my family in laws , all of them , me and my hubby got together when we were 16 and we were pretty wild back then but its been 8 years and they are still treating us the way they did when we were 16, they constantly talk **** behind our backs but are nice to our face and they are always doing family functions and not inviting us and then rubbing in our face what a great time they had. I have hereditary dark circles under my sunken eyes at 17. Would losing weight make them go away?

My mother has sunken eyes with bags under them. I have developed them too. I am only 17 and none of my friends have this problem. I have lost a lot of confidence due to them. I have plenty of sleep and have a healthy diet, however i am slightly overweight. Makeup will not hide them as it's not just a discoloration, there is a noticeable dip and thinning of my skin under my eyes. I think it makes me look very old. first it's best not to over medicate your fish, i only use the chlorine remover when i add tap water. clean the water only every 6 weeks and only about 10%. the filter shouldn't matter as long as it keeps the water clean. a fish could go a week without feeding usually fish die from over feeding so maybe you feed it too much. feed once a day and only about 3 small flakes per fish. frozen food is healthier for the fish. algae could be too much food, too much sunlight or the tank light is on too much. for now do not add more fish let the tank sit for 3 weeks before adding more fish if the fish you have now all die then only consider buying one small cheap goldfish and see if he lives. goldfish could be mixed with guppies as long as you don't have too many goldfish so if you have the one that lives he'll be good with other tropical fish. you don't have to put salt in the water so from now on don't add salt just leave what you have. never do a 75%water change that's too much fish need bacteria in the tank. the temperature is a little high i like mine around 75F. i have three tanks and the one tank is 50gallons with all guppies that reproduce naturally in the tank and survive since i have live plants that they hide in until they are old enough to swim with the adults. my fish don't die so it's just to find the right balance and being it's a new tank you need to give the water time to sit without fish or just one goldfish.

Everything has seasalt in it now and my food sources are getting scarce because I'm too afraid to try it. EVERYWHERE. my cheek, not my beard but my cheeks have hair on them. it seems that wherever i accidentally shave, hair grows there. on top of that i think im slowly losing my hair, my teeth feel weak, and even my bones feel week. i always feel brittle like an old person. everyone thinks i have body dismorphia disorder, which i believe to be true, but does not make these conclusions any less true. so not only do i have a disorder that makes my mind distort my reflection, but it seems that it magnifies the progress of my body succeeding in falling apart. i dont know what to do but if your reading this and know what bdd is, you must know how dangerous it is to someones psychi, i used to be a very handsome person, but i feel like frankenstiens monster with all of what has been happening to me in the past years. its driving to a brink of insanity, ive isolated myself mentally because i feel that my disgusting image is too much to bear, and i feel like people always just lie to make me feel better, ive never done well because this disease has gotten the best of me, well now it really seems to be taking its toll since i feel like im falling apart. i have no job. i was homeless for 3 years. and my life has just been hell sinc i was 17... im now 20. and i dont ever feel like i can get back up. i feel like a 40 year old, thats digressed into the mentality of a 6 year old. im afraid of falling up into the sky. im afraid to make new friends, do new things, even do old things that made me happy. i used to be the most social, kind, funny, charismatic, and intelligent person you know... now i feel like im dying a slow and painful death.

Why do i have trouble accepting what i am capable of?

I have set very high standards for myself, in ways that hurt me. I have an obsession with perfection, and it haunts me day and night. My skin needs to be clear. My marine tank , how do i keep it clean.?

I have a Burnham Series 2 Model B gas fired boiler. Need help wiring a 2nd zone relay to it.?

I'm trying to hook up a second zone relay to my boiler and cannot figure out how to connect it inside the boiler. everything else is done and works correctly. The problem I'm having is, I have the 2nd relay wired to the same wires the 1st zone is wired to inside the boiler itself. What is happening is when the 2nd zone thermostat kicks on the boiler, it also kicks on the 1st zone pump. How do i connect this to work independently of each other? Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm 21, years old, and just started working at an elementary school as a lunch/recess supervisor (pretty much a babysitting job). Yeah, I'm a little late on this I know. I was bored and I did some research, and I do find it odd how the buildings collapsed. Why did they disintegrate into dust as if there were explosions inside? The way they fell was very uniform just like when they do building demolitions. Why didn't chunks fall off if the reason for the collapse was heated I beams? Also, why did it fall so fast all of a sudden? I have fires in my fireplace all the time and usually things collapse in one area and then others--it doesn't all just disintegrate. So i got bronchitis about a week ago and went to urgent care where I was then perscribed an inhaler. I have been drinkin water everyday, mor ethan I usually do and trying to take care of myself. Have an upper respiratory infection question?

I went to the doctor last Tuesday feeling horrible. Doc listened to my chest and said that I had an upper respiratory infection. I was given cough medicine and antibiotics. I am allergic to sudafed (deconomine). Of course it would take time and he gave me a doctor's note for work. On Friday I was back at the doctor and was having a hard time breathing and was given a breathing treatment which seemed to help. Then another work excuse until this Monday. It has been a solid week now and I am still really sick. I still have a cough but my chest congestion isn't as bad. The problem is that I am still in bed. I have started throwing up, diarrhea, and feel horrible. I have had low grade fevers but Tylenol knocks them out. It has been a week now and my work is getting angry. I'm not sure that they can fire me if I have a docotr's note. But I can't see me going to work still. Though the congestion is better, I can't walk the 10 feet to the bathroom without coughing. Among the new symptoms of vomiting (a lot) and diarrhea, I have headaches, neck and back pain. I have been crying. They have changed my antibiotics but I don't know what's wrong. I don't know what to do and my husband is calling the doctor back tomorrow and see if he can see me yet again and get a new note for work. I am just miserable....any ideas? Anyone experienced this before? I have a history of bronchitis and 5 years ago pneumonia. I just feel like I have the flu or something. How do I get work to not be angry? How do I get the doctor to fully understand? What is wrong with me?

A home inspector came to my house today requested by the person who is going to buy my house. I was requested to leave and take my dogs with me for 4 hours, which was inconvienient, but understandable. When I got home, after toting my dogs around with me for 4 hours, I let them outside, and went back into the car to get my sleeping son, and found my dogs running loose in the neighborhood! He did not shut my gate back! Luckily after 20 minutes of chasing, I was able to get them back. Then, I walk back into my house. Every cabinet he looked in, pretty much all were wide open. All of my blinds in my house were all lopsided and pulled open all crooked. All of the my chairs that go to my table, and up agaist the bar were all in the middle of the room. Also, he left hundreds of black scuff marks and black footprints all over my freshly mopped ceramic tile floor! It just seems to me, that he should have left my house as he found it. He is lucky my dogs did not get hit by cars. So Careless!!!!
