Spanish help, what form does "Mi familia" use?

D, vivia. Mi familia is singular. If you say mi familia y yo, it's plural (nosotros form). But familia is a collective noun- one family. So it's singular, D, vivia. Plus it's imperfect- we used to live in the country. When you have a word like a menudo-often; todos los dias-everyday, you use the imperfect because it's a repeated action.
