THE PANORAMA CUP Thoughts pls on a UK hosted International football competition?

There's obviously a huge amount of disappointment in not bringing this competition home, but is there any reason why they (the powers that be) cannot organise their own international football competition? Not necessarily with national teams (it could be at club level), Rather than whinging, it just seems the best way forward and a good way to give FIFA a smack for being a bunch of tarts!
