Why do people mush Christians and muslims together?

We do not have the same God. Allah is NOT my God. I do not believe what Muslims believe. Why do people mush us together saying they are the same? We aren't. Compare the Bible to the Qu'ran(spelt wrong), they are really nothing alike. Why do they compare Christians and Muslims?
