When did you first become interested in astrology and why?

I was about 14 or so and I remember being into it then. The interest just grew, though beyond sun signs of course lol. It just seems...to make sense to me. Yes plenty of people think it's for dizzy people, but I don't care. Astrology has guided monarchies and other rulers since the dawn of time, and for a reason. Many of the greatest scientists and mathematicians were astrologers. Not that I need to defend my natural interests to non-believers! Frequently coming in here to try and 'teach' or disprove is really sad. What about everyone else? I'm especially interested in advanced and professional astrologers. Have any of you been to conventions or anything?

What should I name these characters in my book?

The main character (also the narrator) is a barbie-doll looking 17 year old girl who has thick, blonde hair that reaches to her and hazel eyes. She's a good student and shy and her name has to be pretty. Her best friend is a girl who looks like an African Goddess. She's (obviously since I said African Goddess) African-American with curly black hair that goes just past her shoulders and brown eyes. She is a rebel. I was thinking Blonde: Whitney Brown: Roxanna (roxy)... But, I'm not sure. Help! Please!

Global Warming?

global warming is a bunch of crap...... just bcuz it is hotter in one area doesn't mean that the whole world is hotter.... global means the whole world.....when the GW people are taking their measurements they aren't getting the temps over the oceans and stuff....... the global temp was hotter like 500 years ago then it is now..... since like 1980 the global temp hasn't gone up even 1 degree.......
